Avanti is in near mint condition and a fine example of a beautiful, seaworthy Hunter 460. This large yacht is known for being over-engineered with only the finest materials and has benefited from a long list of new equipment in a 2018 refit.

Luxury, comfort and speed best describes Avanti. Her hull is easily driven by a powerful rig with no backstay. The yacht is equipped with in mast furling and all lines are led aft for ease of handling. A stainless arch holds the traveler, lights, speakers and keeps the cockpit clear and unobstructed. Below, the dinette area is large enough to handle a large crew, but intimate enough for just two. Storage is plentiful as is the natural light and ventilation. Hand-rubbed teak and exquisite leather are in evidence throughout the grand interior.

 

Entertaining is gracious with the open salon which incorporates a TV, satellite radio and stereo. Twin comfortable seats and a convertible cocktail table are located just forward of the extensive nav station with plenty of space for electronics and gear.  The kitchen has an enormous dual-opening refrigerator and freezer that are central to the U-shaped galley. A Force 10® stove and oven plus a microwave make dinners a joy to prepare. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required to prepare and serve meals while cruising and storage for everything is close at hand. In addition, the yacht is fitted out with a generator and air conditioner for added comfort.

The forward master stateroom rivals most yachts twice her size. Twin hanging lockers and lots of drawers make staying aboard easy. A great night's sleep is guaranteed by the inner-spring mattresses. The innovative forward head arrangement splits the shower and head so both can be used at once.  Aft, there are dual staterooms which are large, airy and comfortable. The aft head with integral shower is positioned for convenient access from the aft stateroom or from the salon.
